MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Wolf Creek Interagency Hotshot Crew is to provide land management agencies with a multi-skilled, safe and productive wildland fire management resource. The Wolf Creek Hotshots will provide the highest quality of leadership, pride, productivity and a positive attitude in achieving our goal of safe, efficient fire management as we train future wildland firefighter employees.  The objective of the Wolf Creek Hotshots is to embrace new strategies and tactics in fuels management, wildland fire use and suppression from today’s fire into tomorrow’s future.  Together, our vision is to demonstrate a clear standard of professionalism, performance and teamwork through aggressive educational and physical training.  This team will guide, understand and address the Standards for Ethical Conduct as a crew and as individuals.  As a diverse team, we will build a reputation that is formed from unity, respect and integrity, supported by a concrete foundation of supervisors, leaders and crewmembers to support the overall mission of the USDA Forest Service and continue the proud heritage of Interagency Hotshot Crews.
